If you're looking to make the jump to wonderful and amazing world of PC gaming, I'm here to help. Building a computer is easy. If you can use a screwdriver and plug in an HDMI cable, you can build a PC.
I'll gladly help you pick out the right parts to meet your budget (entry level gaming PCs can cost as little as $400, with decent rigs going for $600-$700).
I have been repairing and upgrading computers since long before many of our crew members were even born, and have been building PCs for a decade. I stay current with the latest technology and typically have a good idea of what is available in every price range to give you the best "bang for your buck."

I was honestly thinking of saving up and purchasing a gaming laptop. Some are $1,500-3,000 range that I was interested in.... Another fellow youtuber and PC gamer told me gaming laptops suck therefore I was discouraged from buying one. In your opinion is computer better than laptop and if yes then why?

@imsocutebuhhye In my opinion, A gaming PC is better! With a gaming laptop your so compacted and you can't upgrade the parts! Meaning 3 years from now you'll have an outdated computer! If you go to this link, pcpartpicker.com/user/Landon_Williams/saved/KRGFf7 It will take you to my build I will be building in December, but ask Brandon to help you build one first! Any other questions?

I was honestly thinking of saving up and purchasing a gaming laptop. Some are $1,500-3,000 range that I was interested in.... Another fellow youtuber and PC gamer told me gaming laptops suck therefore I was discouraged from buying one. In your opinion is computer better than laptop and if yes then why? There are numerous gaming laptops that have the power to play Triple A games, but the problem is you can't upgrade most of them down the road. The beauty of a PC is that you can get started and then re-use parts and keep upgrading every few years to always stay current. Most gaming laptops cannot be upgraded, so you would be spending a lot more money replacing the entire laptop than just upgrading other parts in a desktop. But, as a whole, gaming laptops, at least the pricey ones, do not suck. They just lack the upgrade options. So, to give you a direct answer, in my opinion a desktop is going to be better than a laptop, not because they have more power, but because the total cost of ownership over time is lower.
