You can show your pride in being part of The Vainglorious by having an Official Crew Car. Of course, you need an Official Crew Car if you want to be promoted above Representative.
Here's the requirements for your car to be considered an Official Crew Car
Car: Lampadati Felon
Status: Must be stolen from an NPC, and you must have proof that it was stolen either by 1) having a Lieutenant or higher witness the theft or 2) submitting video evidence of the theft. If you purchase the car in-game or someone else steals it for you, it will not be considered an Official Crew Car.
Required Upgrades*:
All upgrade option categories not mentioned above are entirely your choice. But come on, no one can call themselves Vainglorious with dollar sign wheels, right?
If you need help locating a Felon to steal, contact a Lieutenant or higher.
Since your car is stolen, be certain that you purchase full coverage insurance for it! You don't want some random with an RPG blowing up your investment.
* - If you do not have the current rank/enough race wins to unlock a required upgrade, you may substitute it for a lower upgrade with the understanding that you will purchase the required upgrade as soon as you unlock it.
Also, with all of the required upgrades, you now have a very competitive car for Coupes racing. You're welcome.
Once you're finished upgrading your car, it should look very much like these (ignore the Zentornos):
